3 April 2025 Presser & Co advises Everesting on strategic partnership with Direct-to-Fan (D2F) Partners
Everesting secures funding from D2F partners.

Presser & Co is pleased to have advised Andy van Bergen, founder of Everesting, on a strategic merger with D2F Partners, a Barcelona-based sports investment and advisory firm.
Everesting, launched in 2014, is a global endurance challenge where participants climb the same hill repeatedly—by bike, on foot, or virtually—until they’ve gained 8,848 metres of elevation, the height of Mt. Everest. Over 28,000 people in 116 countries have completed the challenge. The concept is widely supported across the endurance community, with integrations and recognition from platforms like Strava and Zwift.
This marks Everesting’s transition from a founder-led, community-driven project to a professionally backed global platform.
Founded by former FC Barcelona executives Guillem Graell and Enric Llopart, D2F helps sports brands build direct fan engagement and new digital revenue streams. The firm recently expanded with the launch of D2F Media House, led by Paco Latorre (ex-Barça Studios), and collaborates with institutions like Esade Business School to shape the future of sports management.
As part of the Everesting transaction, four D2F partners—Graell, Llopart, Latorre, and David Arroyo i Calahorro (formerly of MotoGP™)—have joined Everesting to support its next stage of growth.
Legal advice for the transaction was provided by Tony Petani, Partner of GrilloHiggins Lawyers, Perth, Western Australia. The Presser & Co advisory team was lead by Trevor Presser and Karla Ridgwell.
